If you are not able to manage a sale, then why do it? Market it? Promise your customers?
Myntra delivered the wrong product, collected the money (COD) and then officially claimed that the order was never delivered.
I received the parcel and paid the full amount. When I asked why I did not receive an OTP, the delivery executive from Ekart mentioned that several customers were not receiving OTPs due to the ongoing sale.
When I opened the Myntra app to raise a return, the order status showed “delivery attempt failed” and was later marked as cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Who delivered the parcel that is currently sitting in my house? God?
The package has Myntra tagloop, their invoice format, and my name, address, and contact details printed accurately. If you are claiming that it’s not Myntra’s then how my data from your database, went through your order gateway was accessed by anyone for this to have happened?
If the order was supposedly cancelled, did it ever reach Myntra’s warehouse?
It clearly did not, because I still have the product that Myntra claims was never delivered.
From December 13th till today, I have spoken to customer support multiple times, repeating the same details just to reach the escalation desk. Every conversation ended with the same scripted response “We apologise for the inconvenience. Do not worry, we will help you.”
After nearly twenty days, the only response I received was that their logistics partner confirmed the order was not delivered, it took you 20 days to check with your logistics partner? What? Do they operate out of an other planet?
To make matters worse, one executive stated, “We will not be able to do anything. If you want to proceed further, please do,” without any attempt to investigate further. So I did. I have filed a consumer complaint and IC3 (since you are claiming that this is not your delivery) against Myntra (docket no: 8449208) and I will see it through.
It’s is about how easily responsibility is denied, how casually customers are dismissed with programmed responses, and how bad it is that a brand of this scale can completely disown a transaction that clearly passed through it’s system.
